Oxfordshire singer-songwriter David Caswell blends soulful pop with hints of funk and jazz. Expect soaring vocals, organic instrumentation and infectious rhythms paired with melodies that don’t always take the obvious path. The result is a sound that's warm and uplifting. Listeners have drawn comparisons with David Bowie, Paul Weller and The War On Drugs.

His new album, Serendipity, celebrates those fleeting moments that change everything—the unexpected conversations, revelations and joyful discoveries that linger in your head long after they've passed. Led by the first single Aqualung, the album is filled with songs to savour, songs to sing along with and songs for shameless dancing.

After years performing throughout the UK with acoustic soul outfit The Mysteries, David released his stripped-back debut EP, The Skin I'm In, in 2023. Since then his live sound has evolved into something richer and more rhythmic through David Caswell & The Moonseeds, alongside long-time collaborators Paul Jacques on fretless bass, Mark Cusack on drums and multi-instrumentalist Paul Raymond.

Recorded with the chemistry of a live band at its heart, Serendipity also features Toby Caswell (keys), Hannah Bates (saxophone and vocals), Ava Eales (vocals) and producer Pete Brown on guitars. The album was recorded at The Brown House Studio in Oxfordshire and produced by Pete Brown
